Beautifully restored over dress in a wonderful shade of mauve. Background replaced to cotton net, all the original embroidery sewn down to the new net as the original silk net disitegrated. Would be fabulous worn as a wedding dress over a simple dress underneath.

Cocoa Couture was established in Cheltenham in 1970 selling antique textiles. Cara acquired the business in 1990. As well as creating beautiful bespoke wedding gowns and lingerie, Cara also spends hundreds of hours restoring  vintage and historical clothing giving them a new lease of life to be enjoyed again.

All of the designs are printed locally in the Cotswolds in the heart of the UK on the finest pure silks and softest velvets, lovingly finished by hand.
